Smitten Kitchen – Mushroom bourguignon

This is a recipe I’ve made before, and I recommend it to everyone. It’s easy and very tasty. Basically you sear the mushrooms, saute some aromatics, add red wine and cook it down, add the  mushrooms and stock and simmer, then mix in some butter and flour at the end to thicken it. You can serve it over potatoes, polenta, pasta….whatever you want!

Funny: the green in the picture is actually cilantro. Thought it was parsley. Mushrooms and cilantro DO NOT go together!
