I bought a new Indian cookbook. The author lives in Britain and the book is her family recipes. So far I’ve made Mum’s chicken curry, Daily Dal, Aubergine and tomato curry, roasted cauliflower and…the real show stopper – the naan! While the rest of the dishes were tasty, the naan was amazing. I followed her instructions for cooking (when it starts to bubble, turn it!) and most of them puffed up nicely. Perfect accompaniment to the curries. I’m looking forward to cooking out of the rest of the book.
